Pink Sands
Pink Sands Resort, located on Harbour Island, part of the Out Islands of the Bahamas, is a 20-acre haven set by the edge of the famous three-mile pink sands beach. Designed by Biba founder Barbara Hulanicki, Pink Sands comprises of 25 pastel-coloured cottages scattered throughout lush tropical grounds.
Ocean-view rooms are privately situated with views to the Atlantic Ocean and Pink Sand Beach and a private pathway to the shore. One or two-bedroom garden-view rooms are privately situated amongst lush tropical grounds just off the main pathway to the beach. Offering more seclusion, the Bimini Cottage is privately situated with unobstructed views and a private pathway to the beach. All accommodation is fashioned in the up most elegance and luxury.
Romantic candlelight dinners are served al fresco at the Garden Terrace restaurant. The cuisine is Caribbean Bistro with emphasis on fresh fish and seafood. Breakfast and lunch are served seaside at the Blue Bar. And if you enjoy your food, Pink Sands Resort now offers a one-and-a half-hour culinary journey of the Bahamas led by Executive Chef James Van Dyke. This is a hands-on course that will immerse guests in the aromatic island ingredients and local recipes, giving them an insiders look on how they are best prepared. Guests will create their own favourite dishes and learn a variety of kitchen skills.
