Jumeirah Dhevanafushi
Jumeirah's first venture
into the Indian Ocean, Jumeirah Dhevanafushi opened in March 2011. If you're
looking for a luxurious escape from the city/kids/job then this boutique retreat
is perfect.
The resort comprises of
just 38 incredibly spacious suites. Each boasts a private pool, an innovative
Apple Media centre and personalised "maxi bar", as well as your own dedicated
butler and a personal chef on call. Choose
from an island villa with direct beach access or upgrade to one of the unique
Ocean Pearls, set over water in a cluster 800 metres away from the main island,
accessible by Dhoni boat.
You
can choose to dine under the stars on freshly grilled seafood with your toes in
the sand or opt for a more exclusive, gastronomic experience. The lavish
breakfast served at the main restaurant is worth leaving your villa for. But if
youd prefer breakfast in bed; a picnic lunch on the beach or dinner by your
private pool then your personal chef is just a call away.
If you can drag yourself away from the daybed on your private deck, retreat to
the over water Talise Spa, continue your relaxation by the main infinity edge
swimming pool or take advantage of the water sports on offer.
55 minutes by domestic flight from Male International
Airport, followed by a 15 minute speedboat transfer. Or a 1 hour 45 minute
private seaplane transfer.
