The Sandpiper

The Sandpiper is discreetly one of the most exclusive, small hotels in the West Indies. Situated on a beautiful, sandy beach on the west coast of Barbados and embraced by lush gardens, this intimate, boutique hotel is one of a kind.

The 47 rooms, one and two bedroom suites and Tree Top Suites, are set in seven acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. They are beautifully furnished in an elegant and simple Caribbean design. Each has a private balcony or terrace with chaise lounges for relaxation with lovely vistas, overlooking either the gardens, pool or Caribbean Sea. The Tree Top Suites also have the luxury of their own private plunge pool.

Open on three sides to torch lit tropical gardens and surrounded by tranquil koi ponds, the restaurant at Sandpiper is regarded by discerning diners as one of the very best in Barbados. Executive Chef, Christophe Poupardin, and his team offer eclectic food with a Caribbean flair from dinner menus which change five times each week. For alfresco lunches and sundown cocktails, Harolds Beach Bar is the perfect spot. Renowned for its location right on the beach and the special charm of its namesake, Harold Shepherd, Harolds Bar is a timeless "Bajan treasure.

The Spa, which is located at our sister hotel, Coral Reef Club, is housed within a beautiful colonial inspired building with clean, modern lines, set within a tropical garden paradise. Exotic vegetation and waterfalls weave throughout the spa, from the four multipurpose treatment rooms to the Outdoor Pavilion. The facilities include a luxurious 'open sided' Relaxation Room, a Hydro-pool, a Thermal Suite and a Spa Lounge offering secluded relaxation. Other amenities include, water sports, tennis courts and a fully equipped fitness centre.

45 minute drive from Barbados International Airport.
