The Augustine

Located in the historic Mal Strana neighborhood, The Augustine reflects Prague's history, character and beauty. The hotel has been created from a set of seven buildings, many of which have historical significance, the largest and most important of which is the thirteenth century Augustinian St. Thomas Monastery, after which the hotel is named.

All of the 101 bedrooms are different, with the majority boasting interesting architectural and structural characteristics including vaulted ceilings and original doors. Try a suite for stunning views of Prague Castle or spoil yourself in the three-storey Tower Suite for panoramic views across Prague.

Enjoy a well deserved drink at The Brewery Bar, housed in the cellar of the original brewery building, featuring an authentic underground water source which has been glazed over and incorporated into the design. Take in the contemporary atmosphere and the delicious food in the light-filled Monastery restaurant which sits in a glazed courtyard and incorporates three protected horse chestnut, Canadian maple and sycamore trees, with outside seating during the summer months.

After a busy day sight-seeing leave the world behind you and head to The Augustine spa for a relaxing treatment inspired by the ancient recipes from the Augustinian order of monks. Don't leave without enjoying the unique history tour through St. Thomas church, Augustinian monastery and Library, which are literally part of the hotel.

20 minutes by car from Prague International Airport.
