The Nam Hai

The Nam Hai is the realisation of a dream to provide a retreat of unmatched luxury on the central coast of Vietnam. Brought to life under the watchful eye of award-winning architect Reda Amalou, The Nam Hai borders a stretch of soft white sands with an unbroken view to Cham Islands across the South China Sea.

Extending through 35 hectares of lush tropical gardens you’ll find 60 one-bedroom villas and 40 pool villas – and if like us, you just can’t decide who to take with you to paradise – opt for the five bedroom beachfront villa with room for up to 15 adults. Each is decorated with fine woods, hand-spun silks and crisp linens, complete with a private garden and a host of luxurious fittings – a spacious and contemporary reinvention of a traditional Vietnamese aesthetic.

With a delectable Vietnamese menu, ‘The Restaurant’ offers everything from lobster to makahni at its open kitchen with intricate screens overlooking the East Sea. Meanwhile, the appropriately named ‘The Beach Restaurant’ fronts Ha My Beach – an open air café serving simple, delicious comfort food, drawing inspiration from right across the globe.

The Nam Hai’s super-luxurious spa offering is sure to impress even the most well-versed spa fan. Perhaps you could be tempted by a Swedish massage, followed by Thai reflexology and a pink Himalayan salt polish, all without moving a muscle? Once relaxed and rejuvenated you’ll find a number of cultural treasures across the region just begging to be explored. Should you face a need to work up an appetite, head over to the palm-fringed swimming pools, grab a racket for a game of tennis, or venture out to one of 2 championship golf courses – the Montgomerie Links and the Danang Golf & Country Club are both within easy reach. For both the experienced and the novice alike, the diving at the nearby Cham Islands reveals an underwater oasis of vibrant corals teeming with fish – a heavenly adventure!
