Guana Island
This 850-acre island, one of the largest of the British Virgin Islands, is considered one of the most private hideaways in the Caribbean. Its only occupant is the 42-guest resort, the first resort built in the BVI, which intentionally retains its original Caribbean style and atmosphere. Jost House is the final luxurious villa, with the option of renting as a one, two or three bedroom villa. The main terrace has aninfinity pool and hot tub.
The food here is great and provided by a very talented team of West Indian Chefs. Enjoy a full range of interesting tastes, from Continental and Caribbean cuisines, all served on an open covered dining terrace with spectacular views of the other islands. If you are heading down to the beach for the day, why not take a special prepared 'castaway picnic' with you, or for a larger group, a beach barbecue.
As you are on a small island you make choose to do nothing, and just relax away from the daily grind, but if you feel the need to be active, there are Hobie Waves, kayaks, windsurfers, pedal boats, tennis, snorkel and fishing equipment. You can also, dive, water ski or take a guided hike, with one of those picnics!

The most impressive and unique activity is unquestionable a hike to Long Man's Point/Chicken Rock. Guana offers 26 private hiking trails, but the most impressive by far is Long Man's Point.
